Hi ape Thank you for your feedback. I only had a chance to test today.
ape wrote > Try removing the 3 files (the folder ${ORIGIN}\program\shlxthdl\..): > - ooofilt_x64.dll; > - propertyhdl_x64.dll; > - shlxthdl_x64.dll. These files were not installed (and since Windows 2000 is 32bits they should not be loaded anyway) ape wrote > Libraries "MS_VCR-2010" that LibreOffice-4.x needs: > - msvcp100.dll; > - msvcr100.dll; > - msvcr100_clr0400.dll; > - vcomp100.dll. I added these to winnt\system32 and there was no change. I later ran Dependency Walker 2.2.6 x86 which showed that LO required functions in several libraries including KERNEL.DLL that could not be found. Therefore LO 4.0.3.3 can not possibly work under Windows 2000 because of these missing functions, regardless of having all MSVC libraries. This makes it even more important that the installer checks the OS first, as requested here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65129 Cheers, Pedro -- View this message in context: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/LibreOffice-and-Windows-2000-tp4057523p4060240.html Sent from the QA mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/
