Some notes on the updater are available here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Updater The code is here: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/website/tree/check.php?h=update Based on my understanding of the updating mechanism (see the section "Upgrade Logic"), your 4.1.0.1 install should give you an offer to upgrade to 4.1.3 now. Could you please check that out? > Also, interesting: on a more up-to-date laptop with version 4.1.2.1 (i.e > rc1) I get the usual > "LibreOffice 4.1.2 is available. > The installed version is LibreOffice 4.1.2.1." > > (already reported as a bug some time ago > https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=46354 ) Hmm, yes. The 4.1.2 build you're being offered appears to be 4.1.2.3, but because we don't show the full version number, users might think that 4.1.2.1 is a later build than the "4.1.2" that they are being offered. Perhaps we should show the full version number, or provide build dates?
