Putting both "vintage" and "mature" yield unfavorable associations on google image search. Some experimentation suggests "mellow" might be a choice -- it seems to suggest "boring" without saying "obsolete" or other negative conotations: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/mellow Not a native speaker here.
