I assume GNOME? I am using Ubuntu 22.04 + GNOME 42.9, and when I click on text, the cursor changes to a pointer (unless I move again, in which case it's again an I-beam cursor). Do you know of other applications that automatically move the cursor out of the way when clicking into text? I feel like I've never seen this kind of behaviour, and that if it existed, it should be an OS / Desktop Environment setting. What do you think about auto-hiding the cursor when typing? That's requested in bug 97757. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
