--enable-debug in the config.log ( what a waste of a rebuild then ) :-(
arhggggg I am going senile, looked at the wrong config.log, appears I do
have --enable-debug so my orig question remains, what did you pass to
get the _GLIBCXX_DEBUG enabled bits ?
