This is already reported: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90261 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1344996 etc. Whenever the UI font doesn’t support a different script, LibreOffice does not fall back to anything else and displays squares.
