I initially tried to post the details to this list but the message body was too big; as per Thorsten's recommendation, I created a bug here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42226. I'm trying to pin down exactly what is happening but am very new to the code. If anybody could point me in the right direction I would be very thankful!
