am not sure "stronger" is appropriate here, AFAIK the main motivation
for the change was that the new algorithm (AES) is "standard" and
implemented by others like Microsoft as well while the old one
(Blowfish) is not; there is no serious weakness with Blowfish that users
should be aware of.
