Thanks for that, I pushed it. In general it is much easier if you
commit the code yourself and then extract a patch with:
git format-patch -1 HEAD
and attach that; this saves the reviewer from writing the changelog
themselves and adding the author data etc. :-)

Guys - this adds 'merge cells' to the right-click context menu in calc.
