As one of the UX-advise guys, I have to agree with that. Gnome solve the same problem by just making the text selectable (and giving it a context menu), which is certainly not the the most obvious but probably the least intrusive way to add that functionality. At most, we would want an ImageButton with a little clipboard icon on it, as Andras proposed.
