I was just testing under Windows today -- firefox does the same there (I
believe IE also lets you do this -- didn't think about testing though
while I was under windows), with the only difference being the tmp
directory used to store a file in.
I think fixing it for windows will involve changing the directory
checking line -- I'll look into this when I finish the current bug I'm
working on.
