vcl/source/gdi/pdfwriter_impl2.cxx is the file, PDFWriterImpl::implWriteGradient the function to look into. An alternative implementation (not used by default) can be found in vcl/source/gdi/pdfwriter_impl.cxx, function PDFWriterImpl::writeGradientFunction. HTH, -- Thorsten
