Regarding ways to discover appropriate channels for questions, when you click the "LibreOffice" menu on macOS ("Help" on other operating systems), you will see two entries: Get Help Online, which leads to https://ask.libreoffice.org/ and Send Feedback, which leads to https://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/feedback/

The Feedback page mentions the Ask LibreOffice forum, but also has a link for creating a bug report.

You can find more information on creating a report here: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugReport

This list is for the development of LibreOffice and not for support or bug reports.

In any case, as your screenshot shows "Intel", please make sure you did not accidentally download the Apple Silicon version, which will not run on an Intel Mac.
