There are people certified for migrations, who have managed migrations
of thousands of desktops to LibreOffice. In general, they are not
developers, although developers contribute to this kind of projects. You
can find some information here:
https://www.documentfoundation.org/certification-program/. I suggest to
read the Migration Protocol:
https://www.documentfoundation.org/media/tdf-migrationprotocol-v2.pdf to
get a better idea of the migration process. After you have gone through
the document, we can have a video chat to discuss the topic. Best

Hi everyone,
I’m not sure if this is the proper place to ask such a question but I thought
I’d try.
I am part of an organization counting 1,300 people. I would like to convince
this organization to switch from MS Office to LibreOffice, rather than
purchasing an MS Office Professional License.
I would love to know if anyone has experience transferring an organization of
similar size (or larger) from MS Office to LibreOffice, and if they would feel
comfortable speaking to me about their experience.
Thank you in advance!
