Hi everyone, I am Ashish, a GSoC 2026 participant. As a part of my proposal, I am trying to establish a baseline test coverage report using lcov. While i was able to generate coverage reports for the core mail merge logic and some other tests, I ran into an issue with the UI directories.
Specifically, the coverage report for sw/source/ui/dbui/ is returning exactly 0% . I tried general solutions available on Wiki. I was discussing this with ilmari,who mentioned that the Lcov automation is currently experiencing some issues and suggested I bring this tooling limitation here on list. Does anyone have insights into what might be causing Lcov to drop the coverage data for these UI directories, or is this a known issue? with the current setup. I would appreciate any pointers or potential workarounds so i can accurately track coverage improvements for my project. Thanks for your help and Time. Best, Ashish (ashtroll on gerrit)
