Dear Vertex42 team, My name is John Mills, and I am a trustee of the Document Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind LibreOffice. I wanted to reach out and express my appreciation for the outstanding templates your team has developed—I'm truly a fan of the Vertex42 collection.
I am interested in exploring the possibility of including some of your templates in an archive that could be distributed by the Document Foundation. I believe this could be a fantastic "win-win" opportunity for both parties, allowing us to highlight the excellent work done by your colleagues at Vertex42 while simultaneously strengthening LibreOffice by giving our users access to more high-quality templates. One point to consider is that we predominantly use the ODF file format. We have encountered some compatibility issues with the Microsoft file formats available on your website. Would your team be open to collaborating with us on compatibility and testing? If we could work together to improve the templates' integration, it would greatly benefit both our communities. My colleague and I have been compiling a list of several of your Word templates for interoperability with LibreOffice, we will also start to test Excel compatibility with Calc. https://nextcloud.documentfoundation.org/s/ifqnxyo7kgqARED?dir=/&editing=false&openfile=true I am enthusiastic about the potential for partnership and believe this could be a great opportunity for all involved. Please let me know your thoughts on this proposal and if there is any interest in moving forward. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, John Mills
