LibreOffice 3.5 is the series that shipped with 12.04 and what is supported. Everything else is volunteer effort as time allows (by others just as well as me). The menubar integration depends on various changes in the unity stack that are unlikely to be backported to 12.04 in addition. > Any chance that a stable 3.6 series will be available for 12.04, the > same as there are 3.4 and 3.5 series PPAs? A 3.6 ppa will be opened soon. It will certainly be there before the first 4.0 backports hit: https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/ppa sometime in February 2013. Before 4.0 prereleases will hit: https://launchpad.net/~libreoffice/+archive/libreoffice-prereleases/+packages (and the raring development release). Please address any further questions to the list, so they dont have to be repeated again and again. Thanks.
