The date of the conference has not been confirmed yet, but we do know that it will be in March 2021, and that it will be *happening online*. This offers some exciting opportunities for speakers from all over the globe to participate, and also some interesting possibilities in terms of schedule configuration. We plan on applying our previous online experiences and the team's free software knowledge and creativity to make LibrePlanet 2021 a true blockbuster event, enabling speakers to reach a broad and enthusiastic audience, share ideas and resources, and take your participation in the world of free software to the next level. Registration will be opening soon, so even if you don't plan on participating, make sure you take your place in the virtual audience, as this will be an event you won't want to miss! If you're interested in speaking and don't have any solid ideas on what to propose, check out last year's LibrePlanet program <https://libreplanet.org/2020/program/> for some ideas or jump online in the #LibrePlanet channel on IRC (Freenode) to talk about your ideas -- we'll have staff on call every Tuesday at 1pm ET until CFS closes. Even if you don't have a topic that feels right this year, *please make sure* that your colleagues and friends in free software know that we want them to submit talks!
