Ah, thanks a heap. I don't think I would have found them on my own. I usually like to look at the archives before subscribing so I can get an idea of traffic, make sure it's properly maintained, etc. I thought maybe the am-meeting 'LibrePlanet conference mailing list' could be an alias for libreplanet-discuss (but couldn't tell since archives are only available for subscribers and there was nothing else LibrePlanet-related) so wasted some time signing up for that only to find it's not particularly useful to me or what I wanted.
It might be nice if a list maintainer is able to place an obvious link to the archives from the sign-up page? -Adam On Wed, Jun 20, 2012 at 12:13:25PM +0100, Ramana Kumar wrote: > The archives are available, they are just *extremely *well hidden. > For example, see when I asked the list about LibrePlanet 2012 recordings as > well: > https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/libreplanet-discuss/2012-05/msg00156.html > There was no answer. > > On Wed, Jun 20, 2012 at 10:15 AM, Adam Bolte <[email protected]>wrote: > > > Hi all, > > > > Sorry if this has been asked previously, as I'm new to the list and it > > looks > > to me like the archives have been disabled (even for account holders). > > > > https://lists.libreplanet.org/mailman/private/libreplanet-discuss/ > > > > I was looking through the wiki and was very impressed with the list of > > speakers at the Boston event this year. > > > > http://libreplanet.org/wiki/LibrePlanet2012/Speakers > > > > Was any of this recorded somewhere and available to download?
