Another significant reason why Windows 8 is bad is because it tries to
increase its users reliance on networked computers (the "cloud"). On
installation it asks users to create a Microsoft online account.
It also looks like the new start screen also encourages users to use
SaaS rather than programs already on their computer. They didn't stick
with the new unpopular Metro theme for nothing.
