Hi all,

Does anyone have suggestions for finding server space where I could set 
up Friendica?  Ideally this would be a service that is well-disposed 
towards Free Software and its role in society. I'm sure I could find a 
web server, and maybe it would support Friendica, but it would be great 
to work with people who understand my goals.

Some gratuitous background:  I wrote some months ago about setting up a 
small personal server to run Friendica and possibly other services.  
I've made enough progress in that direction to realize how important it 
is to do this securely, and it's going to take me considerable time to 
achieve that.  It's still a goal, though.  Getting space on someone 
else's server is a second-best option.  In addition, my mother wants to 
learn about Facebook, so I feel there is some urgency to offer an 
alternative.
