An article in the Techrights site says that FSF does not announce

We cannot allow our leader - the Founder of the Free Software Movement
that has revolutionised industries, worldwide - to be treated like
this.
The FSF should not need donations from entities who seek to cancel the
prophet of the Free Software Movement. Like Schestowitz, I too believe
that the attacks on RMS - which came to a head in 2019 - are
continuing. Let's find a way to protect him, promote his vision, and
accelerate his mission.
We need a fearless counter campaign.
