Subject: OK, Toshiba can't help -IR


After searching everywhere, I called Toshiba customer service about my lost 
Ir port.  (nothing from MS, nothing on Toshiba that does anything...)

They were absolutely NO help whatsoever.  I handed all the details to the 
guy (decent fellow, but first line) and he couldn't get anything back from 
the higher levels; other than "click on 'Ir' in control panel" etc.  Then 
they said take it to a service center...

Oh well.

Could someone confirm for me, now that I think I'm going nuts, that the bios 
on a 110ct really does indicate settings for the Ir port?  And could you 
tell me the default/options?  I can't seem to find this anywhere and the 
Toshiba guy couldn't "pull it up" on his screen.

Thanks again for the suggestions. (and for any new ones)
