If Pres were still around he'd jump all over you John.
 Read the replies from David on this issue,
specifically the Lib's BIOS limitation.  There's just
no way to get around the Lib's function of hibernating
at the 8GB mark on >any< >8GB HDD.  

If you don't either create a small ~32MB or ~64MB
(depending on the amount of RAM) blank space or
partition there, you risk any data written there being
overwritten if the Lib hibernates for one reason or
another.

Again, this >must< be done on all >8GB HDDs to protect
your data.  See the many threads on this in the
archives.
