But you might want to risk Rob's screen if it gets that far... btw...I don't usually use screen savers either - I just wanted something computationally intensive to keep the beastie ticking over while testing Neil From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Libretto toast Date: Mon, 10 Apr 2000 12:07:50 EDT Neil, If for some reason you are ready to throw in the towel on this machine, and it is a 50 or 70ct, I need a screen, as my 50ct has a cracked one and is working just fine otherwise. I am not trying to benefit from your misfortune, but am just putting the word out to you, I am interested in the screen. Also, I am enjoying the updates on your dilema, and am interested in you getting the little "bugger" to work properly! Keep up the posts! Greg Brannan St Louis, MO USA PS - Years ago, I was told that the screen savers have caused a lot of conflicts with other software, from modems and other communication software, to drivers running properly. Since that time, 1995, after I lost two hard drives during my transition to Windows 95, I have never used screensavers again, except to view on a leisurely flight the special saver of my kids photos. I never keep screen savers turned on, and have had very few problems since.
