First of all, you don't need the f12 method to update the BIOS. You just
need to boot from floppy or boot from HDD in DOS mode and run the BIOS
update exe file from the floppy. f12 method is for when everything else is
failed (i.e. you have a bad BIOS update).
3" floppy disk has physical mark as to what format the diskeet is (the extra
hole). You have to either use a 720k floppy disk or cover the extra hole
that designate this floppy as 1.44MB.
