Subject: Libretto 70CT with 1.6G Drive (or should I say 2.1G Drive)
While looking on the web for information about a problem I am having with my
70CT, I ran across a comment that some of the 70CT models have 2.1G Drives
that are only using 1.6G. I checked my drive and, sure enough, I have a
2.1G drive. Now, how can I utilize the unused 400 or so MB?
I understand that Bios 6.30 and 6.40 will not recognize the extra space. So
I loaded 6.20 Bios and ran Fdisk to view the partition information. It said
that 75% of my drive is being utilized. I exited Fdisk without changing
anything and tried booting into Win98. I get a message stating that I need
to insert a system disk (apparently, my boot information has been
corrupted). I reload the 6.40 Bios, and everything is back to normal.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Doug
