I know just about everyone on this list, including myself, is tired of junk email that gets circulated on this list. I can assure you that this is not one of those emails. There is a virus that's going around and it can really be a pain. If you get an email that says, "check this out" in the subject field be very leery, even if it is from someone you know. It could contain the VBS.Freelink virus. This nasty little bug looks at your address book and starts sending itself to everyone that is in your address book. Someone at work got a hold of it and by the time we find out what it was, everyone in the entire company had about 300 - 400 emails sitting in their inbox. For those of you using Norton anti-virus, if you open it and then click on the virus list button, you can scroll down to VBS.Freelink and you will see that this is an actual virus. If you have your anti-virus auto protect enabled, you should not have anything to worry about.
