It works well for me and hasn't caused any trouble in the past 6+ months of useage. (Naturally, you'd have to recompile the source code and make necessary changes for W2K compatibility.) It can create a PGP virtual disk drive on your Libretto as a file. When you double-click, you enter your password, then the file opens up as a new drive letter on your desktop. Anything you put into it 'should' act like another HD; of course, some icky programs double-check to see if they're actually reading off a CD-ROM drive.... As an added benefit, any data and files you put into the PGP encrypted HD will be very tough to retrieve in case the Libretto is stolen. Also, you can easily create <650MB sized virtual PGP drive files which can easily be burned to CD (again, in encrypted format) to backup all of your data. Again, no worry about losing one of these CDs as the encryption is very tough to bypass. Finally, you only have one large file to compare against the original to verify integrity. d =) ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
