I think you'll find that the Floppy doesn't like to operate after any
Windows install where you let Windows install it's driver. I upgraded my
50CT to 98 from 95 and had the same problem, but it is easily fixed. Go to
the Toshiba website and download the file containing the "Utilities" I
think...you can read the descriptions and find the one that has the floppy
driver in it. Apparently the floppies don't like Microsoft's drivers. As
soon as I updated the driver with the Toshiba one all was fine.
Don't be afriad to experiment with loading new stuff...that's how you learn
all this neat stuff about how to fix it!! How is ME working other than that?
