The utility program that you need is called Fastlynx, and consists of
a 100K executable file that you just copy onto the hard drive of each
PC, and then run. You need a parallel "laplink" cable or a serial one
(slower) to join the two PCs together. You can buy this cable in PC
World or similar stores.
