I'd say that about $500 isn't unreasonable to expect, even more if it has
a lot of accessories. You can check out the prices on ebay to see what
libretto 50ct's are going for now. But not everyone shops on ebay, so you
might be able to get even more for it at other places, or in the newspaper.
I recommend checking your local newspapers to see what they're going for
there, newsgroups in the internet (deja.com is good for this), and finally
online auction houses. This way, you'll know where to sell it to get
maximum $ for your work and your hardware.
Another idea is that many of us on the libretto list joined specifically
for finding parts to fix up our busted librettos. An idea is to completely
break down what you have into parts. (charger, batteries, screen, case
parts, ram, hard drive, motherboard, etc, etc.) You may even get more for
it here than what you'd get at other places for the thing as one whole
piece. Since it's a good libretto, everyone knows that what they get
wouldn't have any problems.
Each person would spend a fraction of the price for a whole new libretto
to get theirs fixed, and you'd get possibly more than $500 out of it.
But, it's just an idea. (perhaps someone else has a 50ct that they'd be
willing to break down that no longer has any use to them)
