I heartily recommend the Canon BJC-50. It is a Li-ion battery operated
printer that works with either iR or parallel connection. In the US it
comes with a black print cartridge and a color cartridge and a power brick.
I bought mine in Singapore, where it came with a colour cartridge instead of
the color one.
There is also a scanner cartridge, which pops into the ink well and works
rather well.
I have found the iR interface for both printing and scanning to work so well
that I have yet to break the parallel printer cable out of its shipping
plastic bag.
Hope this helps.

Subject: IR Printers
I'm looking for a printer to use via the infra red port on my Lib 50. Try
as I might though, I cannot find a list of IR ready printers anywhere.
Do any of you have any experiences of IR printing you'd like to share, or
any printer recommendations?
