Subject: mouse pads

I just removed the front of the display on my 100 per recent instructions
nicely done ) to replace the right-hand catch which had sheared off a few
months ago. The operation was quite easy.

While looking in my bag of spare parts I noticed I had also bought a fresh
L50 style mouse cover. I decided to treat myself to a new one since my
current one had been in daily use since 1997 first on my 50 and then
transferred to my 100 and was somewhat worn down.

Whatta difference! Wow! First of all, I found that the 50 style cover was
far superior to the 100 type. The 100 was tighter resulting in difficult
operation. Even the used 50-style was a great improvement. The NEW 50 is a
joy to use. Feels as quick and nimble as the 50 was.

I highly recommend owners of older Librettos or 100s to get a new
replacement mouse button from a 50.
