Subject: Help, I lost my mouse! reinstall driver?

Hi group

I'm typing this without a mouse on my libby110. I have permanently lost
my mouse. (I still have it 50% of the time yesterday.)

I have had this problem quick a while, but it was not serious so I put
up with it (and win98.) One of the reason is that I'm not sure if it's
hardware or software problem. Basically the cursor will suddenly freak out
and "jumb" all over the screen. The right mouse click will click
continuously with small cursor movement --which result in moving of the task
bar to the side or programs on the task bar open randomly. (yes, the mouse
do it itself.) If this behavior last longer than 10 seconds I will totally
lost the mouse, which was still a minor problem. I just restart it.

Now, since last few days, after I installed some web app. Not only the
mouse, the keybroad will lost connection too. This force me to force
restart and fsck disk like hell. And then the mouse lost it at the login
screen. I know this is definitely software problem. Can somebody gives
some kindly pointer to how to reinstall the mouse driver? I'm going the
thanks in advance if next time I have to read the post from a library PC. :)
