Subject: Help: DOS boot disk needed
Hi All,
You may have read in my earlier mail that I would
like to reformat my hard disk and install Win98
(and Linux). But to install Win98, I will need
the boot up disk to recognize the PCMCIA CD-ROM.
I have "researched" through deja.com archive and
various Webpages and finally found out what I
am missing: A DOS Card Service software. I have
the PCMCIA and CD-ROM drivers, but without the
Card Service, these are useless.
I think many of you must have gone through
installing new OSs into the Libretto, right? :)
So may I request you to send me (privately via
email) a copy of your boot disk that can detect
PCMCIA CD-ROM drive?
I know this sounds desperate, but I have been
spending the last 3 nights searching for a way
to reinstall the OS. It is really frustrating :(.
Thank you.
