*Not* that I would presume to comment on Jim's (mis)use of the english 
language...I think he does pretty well for a colonial!
For Italian, I have to defer to may partner and daughter, who between them 
speak every language ever invented and one or two that weren't...

But seriously folks - the CT50 can handle 222k colours (18 bit) on the TFT 
display (I think it does if by some clever modulation/mixing tricks) and 
16.7M colours (24 bit) on the external monitor. Note that you'll have to 
restrict this to 16 bit colour if you want to use linux and netscape 
together to make netscape icons work.
