Subject: 50ct Screen failure

OK all you smart guys, I was advised to disassemble and look for flakey
connectors (hoping for an easy fix). So here it is in the three attached jpgs
below. #1 is the screen panel with the cover off and the screen circuit
tilted up on its side. #2 is a closup of the screen circuit, and #3 is
another closeup of the screen circuit card with my itty bitty screwdriver
pointing to what appears to be the backlight power supply output (I couldn't
figure out what else could have large insulated wilres like that (white and
blue).

If my assumption is correct, and since the connectors (and everything else)
looked pretty good, I will pull the backlight connector, turn on the Libretto
and measure the voltage at the connector sockets. Questions: What voltage
should I expect, and is there any risk in performing the test as I have
described it (I will of course take care to protect myself from high voltage
and the 50ct from ESD)?
