Yes it does if you use my patch.
http://paulbristow.net/linux/clik.html I just got accepted as the new
official maintainer of the ide-floppy driver for the kernel last week so
I will try to get a clean patch in time for 2.2.18 this weekend. Then
it should be built-in.
Supports all linux filesystems including VFAT and some lunatics even put
RieserFS and such like on it.
