Subject: Password for Recovery CD
So, I'm trying to restore my Libretto 70CT, but I
don't have a parallel cable CD drive... so I used my
Kanguru drive, formatted the Libretto's HD, copied
over the zip files on the CD and tried to unzip them
using WinZip... no success. Seems the system wanted a
password. So I dug around the floppy and dug up a
batch file that called tunzip.com and used unzip.exe.
You can almost hear the problem coming, can't you?
Unzip.exe uses the old 8.3 format, so all my "Program
Files" are now in "Progra~1". A call to the Toshiba
Helpless Desk offered no solution, and the website
wasn't none too helpful either.
So, I turn to my fellow Libretteers... where I should
have gone in the first place... with a simple
question.
Does anyone know the password to those zip files on
the Libretto 70CT recovery CD?
