Subject: HD upgrade 8mg limit
I am sure this has been dealt with before but I cant find the relevent
information.
Machine 70CT 32meg ram.
I have just upgraded to a new HD IBM travel star 10gb, however the machined
only see 8gb I appear to be running the 6.2 bios, which I thought would see
the whole 10 gb. I would rather not flash each bios upgraded in turn to
find out which is the correct one. Any advice would be most welcome.
Also after a new bios flash, does the drive need to be re partitioned or
does the extra space just appear as unused at the end of the disk?.
