Subject: 1100V BATTERIES FOR SALE
Hi everyone,
Well, Dynamism has agreed to send me an RMA to send back the unit.
I was surprised to find out that my USB port still would not work after
suspend mode. Oh, well... Such is life.
Anyway, I had done some looking around & found on www.ho.org that
the Portege 3010 laptops used the same battery, memory & charger. So I did
some more research on the battery & found that the part numbers are
identical except for a J instead of an R. They cost me $138 each including
shipping... for the extended battery. I bought 2 of them since I had been
planning to take my unit to China... But I didn't get to do that.
So now I have two unused batteries that fit right in the 1100V. I
tried it! The only difference is that the color is a dark charcoal gray &
obvoiusly does not match the 1100V colors... But they work. I put it in
when I got them to charge 'em up for my trip... But since it went for
repair before I went on my trip it never got used.
Anybody interested. They are obvoius paper weights to me now...
Make me an offer for 1 or both...
