I bought mine off ebay over a year ago. It was overclocked to 133MHz and 166MHz (switching between the speeds using the lenght one holds the power button). It worked fine at 133MHz and never did go into auto-suspend. At 166MHz it did suspend at around 60 minutes of use. The unit also has a hitachi 3.4gb 9.5mm hd fitted and 32mb total. What happened is that once I was using an inferior peice of technology called the Internet Phonecard, which is simply a low cost sound card with mic/spk out to enable i-phoning. This pcmcia card gets quite hot, and well, I had my Lib running at 166MHz, the phonecard in... 25 minutes later the thing goes into suspend. I took the card out, let the Lib cool.... But ever since, the Lib became tempremental, not starting sometimes, and at other times starting. Then a few weeks after that, the unit won't start -permanently... what happens is that I press power, the system starts up, the HD spins, but there's no display. Then if I press power again after a few minutes, it does the beep beep thing as if it is going into suspend. Then it switches off. Is this a motherboard problem? I removed the RAM expansion, tried it, still same problem. Interesting note is that when the unit became tempramental, I used to disconnect the clock battery for a minute or two, then plug it back in, and the lib would start ok. But that doesn't work either now. Any help/suggestions are welcome! I hate to spend around USD200 on a donor motherboard knowing this thing could be fixed!
