Don't do it unless W98 offers you something you need. It will need more memory and
slightly faster cpu to yield performance similar to W95 for such a crammed system.
The max is 32MB which is all but bare minimum for such a system - you risk more
diskaccess and shorter battery life with W98. Plus the waiting for slightæly complex
tasks to complete.

Norton *should* work from other medias than the install CD. It has been a while since
I trusted my data to anything else than GHOST & CD-R discs but Norton will do if you
can't move data off a device easy and regularly. (!)
