The Lib 110 definately has CardBus slots.
I have no experience with external HD's on a Lib, but do you really need it?
To enlarge the capacity? To exchange data with other computers? For backups?
I run my Lib 110 with Win2k on a 20GB HD - that should be enough for most
purposes! To be connected to the rest of the world only a network card is
needed.
