Unfortunately, it has a BIOS password. Toshiba would not tell me how to reset it unless I took it to "an authorized service center" so I found on the net how: make a specific parallel port dongle with some pins soldered together and it will bypass the BIOS check so that you can reset it. Only one problem: the unit does not have a parallel port. That is, unless you have a dock. I do not have a dock, but purchased one off Yahoo auctions. It will arrive soon ! Is there another way to reset the password, except the dongle or recovery floppy ?
