The HD upgrade will make things easier, not faster - at least not significantly faster. There are reports of folks "frying" their Librettos attempting to overclock them, IIRC. Besides, you already had one near-death experience with your libretto... I like to check documents using a text to speech program to proof read my documents out loud. There are many grammatical mistakes I can uncover if I can listen to what I wrote. But this takes 75% of the processors capability. Kicking it up to 133 mhz would eliminate the long delays when it is trying to do other things while talking. Like to do this operation first just in case. Would anyone know the best web sight to go to for doing the over clocking procedure. Then put the ram up to 32 megs. Like to get 6 Gig of hard drive in this tiny machine! Need suggestions and recommendations! Then upgrade to windows 98. ************************************************************** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ -------UNSUBSCRIBE------- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=cmd:unsubscribe --------UNSUBSCRIBE DIGEST------ Use above but add DIGEST to the subject line... **************************************************************
