After a lot of hunting, I did manage to find a file dated 1996 with all of
the FCC ID numbers and corresponding manufacturers onthe www.repairfaq.org
website. It seems to be a site associated with the Usenet newsgroup
sci.electronics.repair.
The file was 189 KB zipped, and 517KB in an uncompressed ASCII file. If
anyone is interested in a copy, let me know and I'll be glad to send it to
you.
I've written 2-3 email addresses at the FCC, and I have their 800 phone
number for help and information. I'll see if they have anything available
on Tuesday.
