You know, I saw some GPS software at REI recently and wondered if it would
work for non-GPS navigation purposes (I actually don't own a GPS - yet).

Whaddya mean, try getting that level of detail anywhere else? What have we
been paying the CIA for, if not this? Seriously, though, the across-the-pond
reviews I've read of Autoroute 2001 seem to suggest that the level of detail
is quite good, and route planning well-executed. We'll see. And I have to
justify the cost of buying and setting up the Libby to my wife somehow, so
even if Autoroute sucks, it's worth it.
