"playing cards"` uses a whole lot less disk access than almost *anything
else* you can do on a computer. THat might explain the descrepancy in
operating times...

I have one of the origial 50CTs, and I never got more than an hour out of
the thing, even with the PC crtad modem out, and the original W95 installed!
